Yazd province with over 3000 years of history, possess cultural heritage and numerous natural tourism resources consists of more than 6500 tourist attractions including most unique civil historic fabric which is still alive, buildings belonging to the periods before Islam and Islamic architecture and cultural capitals including traditional arts and handicraft industries, clothing, ethnic foods, and customs and traditions of which more than 1586 are registered in national heritage list. The historic city of Yazd inscribed on UNESCO world heritage list in 2017 and the location of the province in desert and mountainous ecosystems has created varied and valuable natural tourism resources such as the Shirkouh mountains range and Dasht-e-Kavir, protected areas, tourism regions and villages in ten cities of the province, caves, waterfalls, and etc.
